1. Scope and General Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to contracts between Renourishing Hands, owned by Jessica Bartholomä, and its clients regarding the booking and provision of wellness and relaxation massages, as well as the purchase and redemption of gift certificates.

These Terms and Conditions apply regardless of whether the booking is made via the website or the online booking system, by email, WhatsApp, or in person.

Individual agreements between Renourishing Hands and the customer take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services

Renourishing Hands offers wellness and relaxation massages.

The massages offered are intended to promote well-being, relaxation, and regeneration. They do not constitute medical, physical therapy, or therapeutic treatment and are not a substitute for medical or other health care.

3. Conclusion of the Contract / Booking

When booking online, the customer selects the desired service, the treatment duration (if applicable), and an available appointment, and submits the booking by clicking the designated button.

The contract is formed upon confirmation of the booking by Renourishing Hands or by the booking system used.

For appointments made via email, WhatsApp, by phone, or in person, the contract is formed upon confirmation of the agreed-upon appointment by Renourishing Hands.

The customer is required to provide complete and accurate contact information when making a booking.

4. Price  and Payment

The prices listed at the time of booking apply. All prices are final.

No sales tax is shown due to the application of the small business exemption under Section 19 of the German Value-Added Tax Act (UStG).

Any additional charges, particularly for bookings made through partner platforms, will be listed separately before the booking is made.

Appointments paid for in advance will be handled in accordance with the following cancellation policy.

5. Bookings through Urban Sports Club / external platforms

Cancellations are free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

If an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to begin, or if the client fails to show up without prior notice, the agreed-upon copayment may be charged or retained as a cancellation fee, provided that Renourishing Hands does not receive compensation from Urban Sports Club for the appointment in question and the vacated appointment slot cannot be filled by another client.

If the appointment is rescheduled after the cancellation and Renourishing Hands receives corresponding compensation as a result, any compensation for loss of business that has already been paid will be refunded or reduced accordingly.

The customer is entitled to provide evidence that no damage was incurred or that the damage was significantly less.

6. Cancellation / No-Show

Cancellations are free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

If an appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to begin, 50% of the agreed-upon treatment fee may be charged as a cancellation fee, provided the appointment cannot be rescheduled.

In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, the full agreed-upon fee may be charged, provided the appointment could not be rescheduled. The charge may be issued via invoice or, if a valid gift certificate was used for the booking, by offsetting the value of the gift certificate accordingly.

Any expenses saved, as well as revenue generated from rescheduling the appointment, will be taken into account. The customer retains the right to prove that no damage was incurred or that the damage was significantly less.

If the booked service cannot be provided for a reason attributable to Renourishing Hands, the customer will not incur any costs. Any payments already made will be refunded; the value of any voucher used will be credited back.

7. Delay

If you arrive late, your treatment time may be shortened accordingly if subsequent appointments must be honored.

In this case, the agreed-upon treatment price generally remains the same.

In the event of a significant delay, it may no longer be possible to perform the treatment. In this case, the rules regarding last-minute appointment cancellations apply accordingly, provided the cancellation is the customer’s fault.

8. Cancellation by Renourishing Hands

Unless otherwise validly agreed, vouchers are subject to the statutory statute of limitations.
